Apple Cranberry Whole Wheat Crisp

6  Granny Smith Apples, peeled, cored & thin sliced

•  juice of 1 lemon

1 to 2  c.  fresh or frozen cranberries

1/2  tsp. each:  Central Market Ground Cinnamon & Ground Ginger

1  c.  Hill Country Fare 0 Calorie Sweetener

1 1/2  c.  Uncle Sam Toasted Whole Wheat Cereal


Heat the oven to 400°F. Spray a 9 x 13-inch microwave safe baking dish with non-stick butter flavored spray and set aside.

Combine the thin sliced apples, lemon juice, cranberries, cinnamon, ginger and sugar replacement in a large bowl; toss to coat the ingredients. Spread the apple mixture in the prepared baking dish and cover with plastic wrap. Cook in the microwave oven on High power for 10 minutes. Remove the plastic wrap and top with the toasted whole wheat Cereal. Spray the cereal topping with the butter flavored non-stick cooking spray.

Bake the apple cranberry crisp in the center oven rack for 10 minutes or until the crisp is bubbly.
