4 Green or Red Apples, washed with stem removed
10 - 12 cookies (sandwich cookies, vanilla wafers, chocolate chip)
1 pkg. caramels for dipping
4 Popsicle sticks or bamboo skewers
• wax paper
Wash apples, remove stem and dry. Insert Popsicle stick or skewer in the top of apple. Lay out a sheet of wax paper.
Using a food processor or rolling pin, crush cookies into small crumbs. Place prepared crumbs in a bowl.
Melt caramels according to package instructions.
Dip each apple in caramel, and then roll the dipped apple in cookie crumbs.
Lay apple on wax paper and refrigerate for roughly 2 hours.
