1  head  head romaine or leaf lettuce, torn into bite-size pieces (about 8 cups)

1  fresh mango, orange or grapefruit, peeled and coarsely chopped

1  cup  crumbled HEB queso fresco (1/2 of a 12 oz package)

1/2  cup  HEB lemon poppyseed dressing

2 to 3  thin slices red onion, separated into rings

1/2  cup  (4 oz bag) pecan pieces


Place salad greens in a large serving bowl.

Top with chopped fruit (mango, orange or grapefruit) and Queso Fresco.

Add dressing and toss to coat.

Top with red onion rings and pecans.

Serve immediately. *You may also use 1 bag (10 oz) mixed salad greens
