1 can (16.25 oz) pear halves, peach halves, or sliced pineapple, chilled and drained
4 lettuce leaves, washed, dried and chilled
1 cup Honey & Nut Toasted Oats
1/4 cup chopped pecans
1 cup reduced fat cottage cheese or yogurt
Chill can of fruit overnight in refrigerator or place in freezer for 30 minutes.
Arrange lettuce leaves on individual salad plates or a large platter; set aside.
Place Honey & Nut Toasted Oats cereal and pecans in a plastic food bag and crush.
Add one fruit half at a time to bag with crushed cereal; press to coat.
Place coated fruit on top of lettuce leaf.
Coat the remaining fruit.
Scoop 1/4 cup cottage cheese or yogurt next to each fruit and garnish with a cherry or strawberry.
Serve immediately. Tip: A great salad for family suppertime
