Grilled Pound Cake with Pineapple and Buttered Rum

Ingredients

1 12 oz.pound cake, sliced into 8 pieces ,

6-8fresh cutpineapple spears ,

2Tbsp.butter, melted ,

1/8tsp.cinnamon ,

1/4c.spiced rum ,

1/4c.brown sugar ,

1/2c.half and half ,

2Tbsp.butter,

Directions

1Spray a clean grill with non-stick spray and preheat to medium heat.

2Brush pound cake with melted butter and grill for 2 to 3 minutes per side. Remove from the grill and set aside.

3Grill pineapple for 2 to 3 minutes per side. Remove from the grill and cut into chunks.

4Make the sauce in a small sauce pan. Bring all ingredients to a simmer and remove from heat.

5Serve with grilled pound cake with pineapple and sauce.
