Bacon Glazed Brussels Sprouts

1 tsp.olive oil,

4c.Brussels sprouts, trimmed, halved,

•salt and pepper,

1/3c.shallot or sweet onion, finely chopped,


1/2c.Central Market Organics Chicken Broth,

1/2c.Better than Good Bacon Jam,


1Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add Brussels sprouts and season with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring often, until well browned in spots and beginning to soften, 5 - 7 minutes.

2Reduce heat to low and add shallots and butter. Cook, stirring often, until soft, about 3 minutes.

3Add broth; increase heat and bring to a boil, scraping up browned bits from bottom of pan. Reduce to medium-low and simmer until broth has evaporated, 1 - 2 minutes. Stir in Bacon Jam. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
