Chewy and Gooey Granola Bars

2ripe bananas, mashed,

1/2c.ground flaxseed,

1/3c.unsweetened applesauce,

1/2c.brown sugar,



2c.H-E-B Old Fashioned Oats,

1/2c.pecans, chopped,

1/4c.pumpkin seeds,

5pitted dates, chopped,

1/2c.dried cranberries,



1Preheat oven to 350°F.

2Lightly spray a 9" x 13" baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.

3In a large mixing bowl, blend bananas, flaxseed, applesauce, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg until smooth.

4Add oats, pecans, pumpkin seeds, dates, and cranberries to the banana mixture. Transfer to the prepared baking sheet, pressing down evenly.

5Drizzle honey over the top, using more or less for desired sweetness.

6Bake until golden brown, about 25 minutes.

7Let cool for 10 minutes, then cut into bars. Serve or store in an airtight container.
