6firm ripe red pears, or your favorite variety,
½c.Muscat Canelli Dessert Wine,
6Tbsp.H-E-B Blossom Honey,
2Tbsp.H-E-B Brown Sugar,
¼c.H-E-B Heavy Whipping Cream or H-E-B Flavored Coffee Creamer (optional),
1Cut pears in half and scoop out core. Combine pear halves with wine in a zipper bag. Marinate for 1 hour.
2Heat oven to 450°F. Cut a small slice from the bottom of each pear to keep it upright and place in a 9" x 13" baking dish. Fill each pear with 1 tablespoon honey and remaining marinade. Sprinkle each pear with 1 teaspoon of brown sugar. Bake for 20 minutes or until tender but not mushy.
3Remove pears from oven. Place 1 pear half, upright, on a dessert dish and spoon 1 tablespoon of the pan drippings over each pear. Drizzle 2 teaspoons heavy cream on each pear if desired.
