2poundslean beef stew meat, cut into 3/4 inch cubes,
1package (.87 oz.)brown gravy mix,
1can (8 oz.)tomato sauce,
1frozen bag (20 oz.)Hill Country Fare Stew Vegetables,
1Heat oil in a large cooking pot over medium-high heat. Add stew meat and brown, draining excess liquid as needed. Add enough water to cover browned stewed meat.
2In a small bowl, combine gravy mix, tomato sauce and 1 cup water; blend well. Add gravy mixture to browned stew meat and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat to medium-low heat (slow bubbling) and cook for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
3Using the same small bowl, blend flour with 1/2 cup water until smooth. Add flour mixture and stew vegetables to cooking pot; mix well. Season to taste and bring to a second boil. Cover, reduce heat to a medium-low heat and cook 30 more minutes.
