Chicken And Mushroom Sandwich On Ciabatta

3H-E-B Frozen Fully Cooked Italian-Style Seasoned Chicken Breasts,

6ouncesbabybella mushrooms, sliced,

1mediumsweet onion, sliced,


1/2cupMarsala wine,

1/2teaspoonground black pepper,

4ouncesfontina cheese, thinly sliced,

1loafciabatta bread,


1Heat oven to Broil. Microwave chicken according to package directions. Cut chicken crosswise into thin slices.

2Meanwhile, slice mushrooms and onion. Melt butter in a large skillet over Medium-High heat. Sautèacute; mushrooms and onion 7 to 9 minutes until tender.

3Add chicken strips and Marsala to skillet with mushrooms and onion. Season with pepper; cook and stir 3 to 5 minutes until wine is almost evaporated. Remove skillet from heat.

4Split ciabatta bread in half horizontally. Toast both sides lightly under broiler, 1 to 2 minutes. Spoon chicken mixture over bottom half of bread loaf; top with cheese slices. Return to broiler briefly to melt cheese, if desired. Put top bread half over bottom; cut into 4 portions and serve while hot
