Mediterranean Pasta With Broccoli

1(16 oz.) jarBertolli Creamy Garlic Alfredo Sauce,

2(4 oz.) jarsH-E-B Harvest Moon Red Pimiento Strips, drained,

1(12 oz.) jarH-E-B Harvest Moon Hearts of Palm, drained and thinly sliced,

1(12 oz.) pkgR&F Vermicelli Pasta,

1(16 oz.) pkg.Hill Country Fare Frozen Broccoli Florets,

1(16 oz.) pkg.H-E-B Shredded Italian Asiago or Romano Cheese,


1In a large bowl combine pimiento strips and hearts of palm. Season to taste with salt and black pepper. Set mixture aside. Place creamy garlic alfredo pasta sauce in a microwave safe bowl and loosely cover with plastic wrap. Heat on high power for 1 1/2 minutes in the microwave oven. Add hot alfredo sauce to vegetable mixture.

2Cook pasta according to package directions, but after the first 4 minutes of cooking, add broccoli florets to boiling pasta. Bring pasta water back to a boil and cook pasta miture for 2 more minutes. Drain pasta mixture thoroughly.

3Add hot pasta florets mixture to sauce mixture and toss gently. Sprinkle with shredded cheese and serve immediately
