Texas Two-Step Chile Burgers

1 1/2poundsGround Beef Sirloin,

1 1/4cupsTexas Two-Step Chili,

1/2cupdiced sweet onion,

2TablespoonsAdams Reserve Diced Jalapeño, optional,

1cupshredded cheddar cheese (or 4 slices),


1Combine sirloin with chili mix, onion and jalapeƱo, if desired; mix until well blended.

2Form mixture into 4 patties for burgers. Cook burgers on the grill 5 to 6 minutes per side or on the stovetop over Medium heat. Brush with additional chili after turning, if desired.

3Cook beef thoroughly; center of burgers should reach an internal temperature of 165°F.

4 Top with cheese; place burgers between buns. Add your favorite condiments or fixings, as desired.
