Smoky BBQ And Bacon Cheeseburgers

Cheeseburgers are always a crowd-pleaser. These burgers, topped with cheddar cheese and bacon, can be prepared in a matter of minutes. Serve with oven-roasted potato wedges.

4frozen H-E-B Fully Cooked Original Burgers,

8slicesH-E-B Fully Cooked Bacon,

4Kaiser rolls or hamburger buns,

4 (4 oz.)slicessmoky cheddar cheese,

1/2cupH-E-B Texas Bold Original Barbecue Sauce,


1Line a large plate with paper towel.

2Make two layers of 2 burgers each, separated and topped by paper towel.

3Microwave on High 3 minutes; turn one-half turn and heat 3 minutes more until heated thoroughly.

4Meanwhile, line another plate with paper towel.

5Make two layers of bacon strips, separated and topped by paper towel.

6Microwave on High 30 to 60 seconds to desired crispness.

7Separate top and bottom halves of buns.

8Spread 1 tablespoon barbecue sauce on each half.

9Lay 1 slice cheese on each top half and microwave on a plate just until cheese melts.

10Heat bottom buns briefly.

11Break bacon strips in half.

12Top bottom buns with burgers and bacon.

13Cover with top buns.

14Serve while hot
