1/4cupminced green pepper,
1/4cuporange juice or orange liqueur,
2tablespoonbrown sugar, packed,
2teaspoonorange peel, grated,
5dropsred pepper sauce,
2lean lamb leg steaks,
1In small pan, heat olive oil.
2Saute minced onion and minced green pepper for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3Blend in chili sauce, orange juice or liqueur, brown sugar, orange peel and red pepper sauce.
4Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
5Makes 1 3/4 cup sauce.
6Brush steaks with barbecue sauce and grill 4-inches from coal on a preheated medium high grill.
7Cook 5 minutes, turn and brush with sauce.
8Cook an additional 5 minutes, turn and brush with sauce.
9Cook lamb 2 to 3 minutes longer for medium rare or until desired degree of doneness.
10Cut steaks into thirds and serve
