Upside-Down Cherry Dessert

2cupsToasted Oats,

1Tbsp.brown sugar,

1can(1 pound 4 oz) cherry pie filling, regular or lite,

2cupsfrozen low fat yogurt, softened,


1Heat oven to 400 degrees.

2Spray an 8-inch pie pan with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.

3Place Toasted Oats cereal in a plastic food bag and crush.

4Combine crushed cereal, butter or margarine and brown sugar in a large mixing bowl.

5Press crumb-crust mixture in prepared pie pan.

6Bake for 10 minutes.

7Remove from oven and let sit 5 minutes to cool.

8Evenly spread pie filling on crust.

9Spread softened yogurt ice cream over cherries.

10Eat immediately or cover and freeze.
