Triple Cranberry Chocolate Cake

1/3cupHill Country Fare Vegetable Oil,

3largeeggs, lightly beaten,

1(18.25 ounces) boxBetty Crocker Devil's® Food Cake Mix',

1 1/4cupHarvest Moon Triple Cranberry Sauce,

1cupH-E-B Cranberry Juice Cocktail,

1containerBetty Crocker Whipped Cream Cheese or Chocolate Frosting,


1Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Heavily spray two 8-inch cake pans with nonstick cooking spray or greaase with softened margarine and dust with 1 tablespoon flour; shake out excess; set pans aside.

2Combine cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, 3/4 cup of Harvest Moon Triple Cranberry Sauce and cranberry juice cocktail in a large mixing bowl. Mix for 1 minute on low speed with an electric mixer and scrape down the sides of the bowl. Divide cake batter evenly into two prepared cake pans. Bake on center oven rack for 35 minutes or until cake is done. Cool cakes completely in pans on cake rack before removing from pans.

3Combine remaining 1/2 cup cranberry sauce with cream cheese or chocolate frosting and beat with electric mixer on low speed for 15 seconds. Place first cake round on a cake plate and frost cake on top and sides. Place second layer on top of the first layer and frost remaining sides and top of cake.
