3whole eggs, beaten,
1cupdark corn syrup or molasses,
1/23 ounce tabletAbuelita Mexican chocolate, crushed,
1Hill Country Fare refrigerated pie crust,
1Heat oven to 350 degrees. Bring pie crust to room temperature according to package directions; set aside.
2Combine eggs, sugar, syrup, pecans and crushed chocolate in a large mixing bowl. Mix with an electric mixer on medium speed until blended.
3Pour pecan pie filling into unbaked pie-crust lined pan. Bake on lower third oven rack for 45 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool the pie completely before serving.
