1sheetfrozen puff pastry, thawed,
1/2cupsliced almond, toasted,
1grated zest of lemon,
1/3cuppacked brown sugar,
1 1/2poundspluots, cut into slices,
1Roll the puff pastry sheet into a 12 by14 inch rectangle on a flat surface.
2Cut off 2 inches to form a square.
3Cut the 2 inch strip into 1/2 inch pieces.
4Brush the edges of the square with milk.
5Arrange the pastry piece along the edges.
6Place on a baking sheet and brush with butter.
7Sprinkle with the almond.
8Combine the lemon zest and brown sugar in a bowl and mix well.
9Arrange the pluot slices over the pastry.
10Spoon the brown sugar mixture over the pluots.
11Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes
