2/3cupH-E-B Medium Grain Rice, raw,
1tablespoonrum or rum flavoring (optional),
1Combine 4 cups milk, sugar, salt, and rice in a medium, heavy-bottomed saucepan.
2Stir and bring to a boil over high heat.
3Lower heat and simmer gently 1 hour, stirring often.
4Meanwhile, beat egg in a medium bowl.
5Stir in the cool milk, cinnamon, raisins, vanilla and rum.
6When rice is tender, slowly add the hot mixture to the bowl, stirring constantly 1 to 2 minutes.
7Serve immediately or chill.
8Sprinkle with cinnamon
