1Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Place a baking sheet on the center oven rack to heat.
2Place chocolate graham crackers in a food processor or blender bowl and chop into coarse crumbs.
3Combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter and vanilla. Evenly spread and press the cracker mixture into a 13 x 9-inch- baking dish. Evenly sprinkle coconut and chocolate chips over the graham cracker crust. Pour the condensed milk over the coconut and chocolate chips. Top the condensed milk with the chopped walnuts.
4Place the baking dish over the heated baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes.
5Remove baking dish from the oven and turn over on a foil-lined wire rack: remove baking dish. Place in refrigerator for 30 minutes to cool completely.
6Cut bars into 1/2 x 4-inch bars. bars become firm after 2 hours.
