1 (16 oz.)canred, tart pie cherries,
1 1/2tablespoonsMinute Tapioca,
2 to 3dropsalmond extract,
1 1/2tablespoonsall-purpose flour,
1tablespoonbutter, cut into chunks,
1 to 2teaspoonmilk,
1double pie crust,
1Mix first 7 ingredients in a saucepan.
2Heat on medium and prepare crust.
3Mix flour and sugar and spread evenly over the bottom of the unbaked crust.
4Gently spoon cherries into crust so as not to disturb sugar mixture.
5Dot top with butter.
6Add top crust.
7Seal edges and crimp.
8Brush the top of your pie crust with 1 to 2 teaspoons milk; sprinkle with sugar.
9Bake at 450 degrees for 5 minutes.
10Reduce temperature to 400 degrees and bake 25 to 30 minutes or until golden.
11Cool on wire rack for 2 hour
