1/4cupbutter or margarine, melted,
1 3/4cupsall purpose flour,
1/4cupwhole wheat flour (or white optional),
1The night before: Place water and yeast in a large bowl. Allow to dissolve 5 minutes.
2Add milk, butter, salt, sugar, flour and oats. Mix until smooth. Cover and allow to stand overnight.
3The next morning: Beat in eggs and baking soda until well mixed. Batter will be thin.
4Bake in waffle iron until golden and crisp.
