Ingredients

2stripsbacon,

5cupsdrained, cooked pinto beans,

1/2 to 1cupwater,

1cloveclove of garlic, minced,

1/4 tsp.chili powder,

1/4teaspoonsalt,

Directions

1Cut up bacon.

2Place bacon in large skillet.

3Cook until crisp.

4Pour beans into skillet.

5Mash beans with a potato masher.

6Add 1/2 cup water, garlic, salt and chili powder.

7Stir.

8Heat uncovered, 5-7 minutes or until beans are thickened.

9Add remaining 1/2 cup water if necessary
