1loafday old French bread,
1/3poundsharp cheddar cheese,
2egg whites, beaten to stiff peaks,
1dashhot sauce (optional),
1Trim crust and cut bread into 1-inch squares.
2Melt margarine and cheese in a double boiler or microwave.
3Fold into egg whites.
4Dip bread into cheese mixture, place on a cookie sheet, cover with foil or wax paper and refrigerate overnight.
5Bake at 400 degrees for 12 to 15 minute
