Turkey Cranberry Burgers

Good News


1lb.very lean ground turkey meat (93%),

1/2c.dried cranberries,

1/2c.boiling water,

1/2 tsp.dried sage,

1egg, beaten,

1 tsp.dijon mustard,

1/4 tsp.salt,

1/4 tsp.pepper,


1Heat the water in a microwave-safe bowl and pour over dried cranberries. Let stand for 5 minutes, then drain.

2In a large bowl combine all ingredients. Mix until just combined.

3Form into 4 patties.

4Spray a large skillet with nonstick spray and set over Medium flame. Brown burgers on both side for 6 minutes each or until the juices run clear.

5Remove from the pan and serve with your choice of toppings on deli round bread.
