Bacon Blue Cheese Steak Burgers

Good News


1lb.extra lean ground beef (97% lean),

1/ onions, chopped,

1/ cheese crumbles,

4Tbsp.bacon jam,

1pkg. pre-sliced mushrooms, assorted,

1 pepper,

1Tbsp.steak sauce,


1In a large bowl, combine beef, steak sauce, black pepper, and green onions. Mix well and form into 4 equal patties.

2Spray a large sauté pan with non-stick spray and over medium heat. Sauté mushrooms until well browned. Remove to a bowl.

3In the same sauté pan, spray a bit more non-stick spray then add the four preformed patties. Cook 6 minutes on one side then turn. Add 1 tbsp. of bacon jam to each burger, and then top with blue cheese. Cover and cook a few minutes until the cheese begins to melt.

4Remove from the pan and place on a plate. Top with sautéed mushrooms and serve.
