Apple Seasoned Pork Chops

2 tsp.unsalted H-E-B Butter, divided,

1/2onion, thinly sliced,

1garlic clove, minced,

1medium Fuji apple, thinly sliced,

4pork chops,

1/4c.white wine,

1/2c.almonds, toasted,


*H-E-B Ground Cinnamon,


1Heat 1 teaspoon butter in a large skillet over Medium heat. Add onion, garlic, and apples; sauté 8 minutes.

2Remove mixture from pan and set aside.

3To the same skillet, add remaining butter. Place pork chops in skillet and sear each side 2 minutes.

4Add wine, bring to a boil. Add apple mixture back to skillet, cover, and cook 5 minutes over Medium heat.

5Serve pork chops with apple mixture; top with almonds. Add salt and cinnamon to taste.
