1 1/2c. (8 oz.)Hill Country Fare Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips,

1/4c.H-E-B Unsalted Butter,

1/2c.packed H-E-B Brown Sugar,

3/4c.H-E-B The Baker's Scoop All Purpose Flour,

1/4tsp.Hill Country Fare Baking Powder,

1/4tsp.cayenne pepper (optional),

1tsp.H-E-B The Baker's Scoop Double Vanilla Extract,

1/2c.H-E-B Real Egg,

1c.chopped Hill Country Fare Walnut Pieces,


1Combine semi-sweet chocolate chips and butter in a sauce pan with a heavy bottom and heat on medium until chocolate is melted (about 2 minutes). Set mixture aside.

2Combine brown sugar, flour, baking powder and cayenne pepper in a mixing bowl. Stir chocolate mixture into flour mixture with an electric mixer on medium speed one minute. Add vanilla, Real Egg and chopped walnuts to the brownie dough and beat one minute or until well blended. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and chill 30 minutes.

3Heat oven to 350°F. Line 2 to 3 cookie sheets with foil and spray with non stick cooking spray. Drop brownie dough by tablespoons on prepared cookie sheets. Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Cool cookies on cookie sheet 2 minutes. Remove to rack for complete cooling.
