1 1/2c.H-E-B The Baker's Scoop All Purpose Flour,

2 1/2tsp.Hill Country Fare Baking Powder,

1/2tsp. each:salt and fresh cracked black pepper,

6Tbsp.chilled H-E-B Butter, cut into slices,

2Tbsp. each:chopped fresh chives, basil, cilantro & mint,

3/4c.H-E-B Buttermilk,

2Tbsp.H-E-B Real Egg,


1Heat oven to 425°F.

2Combine flour, baking powder, salt, pepper and butter chunks in a food processor bowl and pulse 4-5 times until the texture is chunky. Add the herbs and pulse once. Add buttermilk and pulse twice. Transfer dough to a floured surface.

3Lightly knead dough 1 minute and press into a circle with a 7-inch diameter. Use a 2-inch biscuit cutter and cut out biscuits. Press dough scraps together into a circle 1/2 inch thick, cut into additional biscuits. Brush biscuits with Real Egg and bake 15 minutes or until golden.
