Ingredients

1bag (1 pound)H-E-B Great Northern Beans (2 cups dry),

3cans (14 1/2 oz. each) chicken broth or 6 cups of water,

1can (14 1/2 oz)diced Italian seasoned tomatoes,

1bagfrozen stew vegetables,

1teaspoonTabasco Sauce,

1teaspoonoregano leaves,

Directions

1Soak beans according to package instructions. Rinse and drain.

2Place beans and add all other ingredients in a large soup pot. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until beans are tender.

3 Serve immediately or refrigerate overnight. Freezes well.
