Italian Meatball Sub Melt

1bag (16 oz.)H-E-B Italian Style Fully Cooked Meatballs,

1jar (26 oz.)Ragu Pasta Sauce, any flavor,

2H-E-B Bakery French Stick Loaves,

1container (5 oz.)H-E-B Ready,Fresh,Go! Sliced Peppers & Onions,

1bag (6 oz.)H-E-B Shredded Parmesan Cheese,


1Heat oven to 400°F. Spray a large foil lined baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray.

2 Combine the frozen meatballs and pasta sauce in a microwave safe bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Heat in microwave on High power for 6 minutes and set aside.

3 Cut out a full length V-shaped wedge along the top of each loaf (about 2-inches wide and 2-inches deep). Evenly fill the loaves with the meatballs and sauce. Top the meatballs with the sliced peppers & onions and Parmesan cheese.

4 Place the filled loaves and the V-shaped bread wedges cut from the top of the loaves on the same baking sheet. Top the bread wedges with remaining sauce, cheese, peppers and onions. Bake on center oven rack for 15 minutes or until the cheese melts.
