6slicesslices of bacon, cooked crisp and chopped,
2cans(15 oz) Hill Country sliced potatoes,
1Cook bacon until crisp.
2Reserve 1 tbsp of bacon fat in skillet.
3Chop bacon and set aside.
4Heat same skillet over medium heat and add bacon fat and onions.
5Cook until golden (about 2 minutes).
6Add flour and stir to combine.
7Add sugar , vinegar and 1 1/2 cups water.
8Bring to a boil until sauce thickens.
9Remove from heat.
10Combine potato flakes and let sit for 2-3 minutes.
11Whip with a fork and season to taste with salt and pepper
