Ingredients

1 1/2poundsboneless Beef Sirloin Steak, cut 3/4-inch thick,

3/4cupAllegro Hickory Smoke Marinade,

1/2cupbeef broth,

4clovesgarlic, minced,

2tablespoonsbrown sugar,

1tablespoonHill Country Fare Vegetable Oil,

1teaspoonHill Country Fare Ground Black Pepper,

Directions

1Combine marinade ingredients in a 1-gallon sealable plastic bag. Add steak and turn bag to coat; marinate in refrigerator 4 to 6 hours or overnight.

2Heat charcoal 30 minutes until coals are covered with a light layer of gray ash, or heat gas grill on High 10 minutes with lid closed.

3Remove steaks from marinade; place steaks on the grill 4 inches above Medium heat (375 degrees F grill surface temperature). To determine temperature of grill surface, hold palm just above cooking grate; if heat causes you to pull away in 4 seconds, temperature is Medium. Grill steaks 6 to 8 minutes per side or until a meat thermometer inserted horizontally into center of steaks reads 140 degrees F for Medium-Rare or 155 degrees F for Medium doneness. Let steaks stand 2 minutes, carve into thin slices and serve
