1 (14 oz.)canLalechera Sweetened Condensed Milk,
1 (12 oz.)canevaporated skim milk,
1Heat oven to 325 degrees F.
2Cook sugar in a small skillet over medium high heat, stirring occasionally, until melted and golden in color.
3Pour caramelized sugar into a 9x13-inch baking dish and tilt dish so that caramelized sugar is evenly spread; set aside.
4Caramelized sugar will crackle as it cools.
5Combine condensed milk, evaporated skim milk, eggs, coconut, and orange juice in a large bowl: stir well.
6Pour custard mixture into caramel coated baking dish and place inside a larger baking dish.
7Fill outside baking dish halfway with water and place in center oven rack.
8Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center of the flan comes out clean.
9Carefully, remove flan dish from hot water bath and cool on a rack.
10Chill thoroughly before serving
