Tropical Banana & Fruit Cake

1/2cuppacked H-E-B brown sugar,

2bananas, peeled and sliced,

115.2 ounce canDole tropical fruit,

118.25 ounce boxBetty Crocker yellow cake mix,


3large eggs,


1Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9x13-inch cake pan with nonstick cooking spray or grease with softened margarine; set aside. Sprinkle brown sugar in prepared cake pan.

2Combine banana slices and fruit cocktail with juice in blender or food processor bowl. Process or blend the fruit for 30 seconds into a chunky mixture.

3Combine cake mix, oil, eggs and processed fruit in a large mixing bowl. Mix for 2 minutes on medium speed with an electric mixer. Pour cake batter into brown sugar coated baking pan and bake for 35 minutes.

4Cool cake completely in pan before turning over onto foil lined cookie sheet pan or cake platter. Ice the cake with Betty Crocker vanilla or cream cheese icing
