1Pour boiling water over shortening, sugar and salt in a large bowl.
2Stir until shortening is melted.
3Sprinkle yeast into lukewarm water, stir until dissolved, stir in eggs.
4Add flour to shortening mixture.
5Add egg and yeast mixture and blend well.
6Cover and place in refrigerator for a minimum of four hours and up to overnight.
7Oil muffin pans.
8Roll out dough on floured surface.
9Make desired shape of rolls, cloverleaf, split-top etc.
10Place in prepared pan.
11Let rise in warm place for 2 1/2 to 4 hours until about doubled.
12Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
13Bake 9 to 11 minute
