1 box (16 oz.) H-E-B The Baker's Scoop Angel Food Cake Mix
1 1/3 c. H-E-B Espresso Cafe Ole, extra-strong brewed
1 1/4 c. Hill Country Fare Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
3/4 c. H-E-B Heavy Cream
1 can (7 oz.) Hill Country Fare Real Dairy Whip Cream
Prepare cake mix according to package directions using
extra-strong coffee instead of wate
r. Cool cake as directed.
Make ganache: melt semi-sweet chocolate chips with cream in a saucepan over Low heat. Pour
mixture into bowl.
Cool 20 minutes. Whisk chocolate mixture to thicken.
Place cooled cake on cake platter. Spread ganache over cake starting from the top. Place i
n freezer 10 minutes to
set icing. Slice cake into 12 slices with an electric knife and to
p with whipped cream, if desired.
