Chocolate Citrus Cake

Ingredients

Cake:

1 pkg. (18 1/4 oz.) Devil's Food Cake Mix

3 eggs

1 1/3 c. H-E-B Original Cola Pure Cane Sugar Soda

1/2 c. canola oil

1 Tbsp. orange extract

Frosting:

1/2 c. butter, softened

3 3/4 c. powdered sugar

3 Tbsp. H-E-B Instant Chocolate Drink Mix

1/4 c. H-E-B Original Cola Pure Cane Sugar Soda

1/2 tsp. orange extract

Directions


Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 13x9-inch baking pan.* Set aside.
In a large bowl combine cake mix, eggs, soda, oil, and orange extract. Using hand mixer be
at on low speed for 30 seconds, then on medium speed for an additional 2 minutes.
Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the cen
ter comes out clean. Cool cake on wire rack.
For frosting, combine all ingredients in a small bowl and beat until smooth. Frost cooled
cake.
