Strawberry Bread

3 c. flour

1 tsp. salt

1 Tbsp. ground cinnamon

1 tsp. baking soda

1 c. granulated sugar

3 eggs, beaten

1 1/4 c. applesauce

2 pkgs. (10 oz.) frozen sliced strawberries, thawed and drained

1 c. pecans, chopped


Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease two 8" loaf pans, set aside.
Combine flour, salt, cinnamon, baking soda, and sugar in a mixing bowl. Make a well in cen
ter of dry ingredients, add eggs and applesauce, and stir until moistened.
Stir in strawberries and pecans. Spoon batter into prepared pans. Bake 60 minutes. Cool be
fore slicing and serving.
