Let's Party Spinach Dip

Ingredients

4 slices H-E-B Thick Sliced Premium Bacon

1 c. yellow onion, diced

2 tsp. all-purpose flour

1 pkg. (16 oz.) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and dried

1 c. whole milk

1/2 c. sour cream

1 block (8 oz.) cream cheese

1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese, divided use

Directions


Preheat oven to 350°F. Chop bacon and cook in a large skillet over medium heat about 1
0 minutes or until browned and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
Discard all but 1 Tablespoon drippings from pan; add onion and cook 8 to 10 minutes or unt
il tender, stirring occasionally. Add flour and cook 30 seconds. Add spinach,milk, sour cr
eam, and cream cheese. Stir and cook until cream cheese melts. Stir in bacon and 1/4 cup P
armesan.
Transfer to a 1 1/2 quart casserole or baking dish; top with remaining 1/4 cup Parmesan an
d bake 20 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
