1 pkg. (uncooked) lean turkey burger patties
• salt and pepper
4 Tbsp. H-E-B Basil Pesto Tapenade
4 slices H-E-B Mozzarella Cheese
4 hamburger buns, ciabatta or Kaiser rolls, split horizontally (halved)
1/3 c. mayonnaise
1/4 c. Canyon Foods Giardiniera Relish, drained
• tomato slices and lettuce leaves
Heat charcoal until covered with a light layer of gray ash or heat gas grill on high 10 mi
nutes with lid closed. Be sure grill grate is clean and well-oiled first.
Season plain patties with salt and pepper, as desired (seasoned patties are ready to cook)
. Grill over medium heat 6 to 7 minutes per side. Top with pesto and cheese after turning
to second side. Lay buns around perimeter of grill to heat, if desired. Close grill lid to
melt cheese if necessary.
Combine relisg and mayonnaise; spread mixture over cut sides of buns. Place patties, tomat
o slices and lettuce in between buns. Serve immediately.
