Garlic Parmesan Grilled Tomatoes
1 tsp. kosher or sea salt
1/2 tsp. Central Market Organics Black Pepper
1 tsp. Central Market Organics Crushed Red Pepper and Minced Garlic
1/4 c. H-E-B Italian Shredded Parmesan Cheese
1/4 c. Central Market Organics Extra Virgin Olive Oil
4 large tomatoes, sliced 1/2-inch thick
1/3 c. fresh italian parsley
1/2 c. H-E-B Crumbled Goat or Feta Cheese
Charcoal or Gas Grill: Prepare grill so that fire is hot. Line a baking sheet with foil an
d set aside.
Combine salt, black pepper, crushed red pepper, garlic, Parmesan cheese and extra virgin o
live oil in small plate or bowl. Brush tomato slices on each side with olive oil mixture a
nd place on prepared baking sheet.
Grill tomato slices 3 minutes on each side. Arrange grilled tomatoes on platter and sprink
le with chopped parsley and crumbled cheese.
