Apple Cranberry Whole Wheat Crisp

Ingredients

6 Granny Smith Apples, peeled, cored & thin sliced

• juice of 1 lemon

1 to 2 c. fresh or frozen cranberries

1/2 tsp. each: Central Market Ground Cinnamon & Ground Ginger

1 c. Hill Country Fare 0 Calorie Sweetener

1 1/2 c. Uncle Sam Toasted Whole Wheat Cereal

Directions


Heat the oven to 400°F. Spray a 9 x 13-inch microwave safe baking dish with non-stick
butter flavored spray and set aside.
Combine the thin sliced apples, lemon juice, cranberries, cinnamon, ginger and sugar repla
cement in a large bowl; toss to coat the ingredients. Spread the apple mixture in the prep
ared baking dish and cover with plastic wrap. Cook in the microwave oven on High power fo
r 10 minutes. Remove the plastic wrap and top with the toasted whole wheat Cereal. Spray
the cereal topping with the butter flavored non-stick cooking spray.
Bake the apple cranberry crisp in the center oven rack for 10 minutes or until the crisp i
s bubbly.
