Grilled Southwest Marinated Flank Steak
2 lb. flank steak
1/4 c. H-E-B Specialty Series Southwest Marinade
Combine the flank steak and marinade in a zipper bag, seal and refrigerate for 1 hour or u
ntil ready to grill.
Heat a charcoal or gas grill to 400°F. Place the marinated flank steak on the hot gri
ll with the lid closed and grill for 2 minutes. Turn the meat over and continue to grill
for another 2 -3 minutes with the grill cover open. Check the internal temperature of the
meat for the desired degree of doneness. Turn the meat over once more until the desire d
egree of doneness it reached.
Place the meat on a cutting board and allow to rest 5 minutes. Thin slice the flank steak
across the grain and serve.
