Cinnamon Dutch Baked Apples
6 Granny Smith or Fuji Apples, washed & cored
1 Tbsp. ground cinnamon
2 Tbsp. raisins (8 raisins each)
2 Tbsp. Hill Country Fare 0 Calorie Sweetener
6 Tbsp. Greek Fat Free Yogurt
1 Tbsp. Hill Country Fare 0 Calorie Sweetener
Place the 6 cored apples into a two-quart microwave-safe dish. Sprinkle ½ teaspoon cinnamo
n inside each apple where core was removed.
Stuff 1 teaspoon raisins and 1 teaspoon sugar replacement into each apple. Cover the baki
ng dish with plastic wrap. Microwave on High power for 10 minutes. If your microwave ove
n does not have a rotating bottom, turn the baking dish a half turn after 5 minutes of coo
king and then microwave 5 more minutes.
Carefully remove the baking dish from the microwave oven with potholders. Let apples cool
5 minutes. While the apples are cooling, combine the Greek Fat Free Yogurt and 0 Calorie
Sweetener in a small bowl and blend with a fork or wire whip. Top each apple with 1 Tabl
espoon sweetened yogurt and serve.
