1 (8-9 inch) glass pie pan or baking dish

2 c. chopped fresh asparagus spears, discard bottom inch
4 strips H-E-B Fully Cooked Bacon, heated and chopped
1 Tbsp. chopped red onion
1 Tbsp. sliced fresh basil or 1/2 tsp. dried crushed basil
1 c. H-E-B Fat Free Half & Half
2 c. H-E-B Real Egg
1/2 c. H-E-B 2% Reduced Fat Monterey Jack Cheese
Heat the oven to 350°F. Spray an 8 – 9 inch baking dish with no-stick butter spray an
d set aside.
Place the chopped asparagus in a microwave safe bowl, cover with plastic wrap, microwave o
n High power for 3 minutes and set aside.
Sprinkle the chopped bacon, asparagus, chopped onion and basil in the prepared baking dish
. Season with salt and fresh cracked pepper to taste.
Combine the half and half, H-E-B Real Egg and shredded cheese in a mixing bowl and pour in
to the baking dish. Place the quiche baking dish in a larger baking pan and fill the outs
ide pan with 1/2 inch water. Carefully place the quiche on the center oven rack for and b
ake for 25 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Cut the quich
