Garden Greens with Pears & Walnuts
* juice of 2 lemons
4 fresh pears, cored and thin sliced
1 box (8 oz.) Central Market Organics Garden Herb Salad Greens
1/4 c. H-E-B Shredded Asiago Cheese
1/2 c. Hill Country Fare Walnut Pieces
2 Tbsp. each: H-E-B Extra Virgin Olive Oil & Pomegranate Juice
1/2 tsp. H-E-B Dijon Mustard
Combine the lemon juice and 1 cup water in a large mixing bowl. Dip the pear slices in th
e lemon water and drain.
Place Garden Herb Greens into a large salad bowl and layer with the dipped sliced pears, A
siago cheese and walnuts. Cover salad with plastic wrap and chill for 30 minutes or until
ready to serve.
Combine the olive oil, pomegranate juice and Dijon mustard in small bottle with lid. Shak
e the dressing and toss into the salad before serving.
