Crunchy Spicy Parmesan Crisps
* H-E-B Parchment Paper
1/4 c. H-E-B Italian Shredded Parmesan Cheese
1/4 tsp. ground cayenne pepper
1/4 c. tomato, chopped
2 Tbsp. cilantro, fine chopped
2 Tbsp. red onion, fine chopped
Heat oven to 500°F. Lightly spray a baking sheet with no stick spray and lay a sheet
of parchment paper on top.
Combine the shredded parmesan cheese and cayenne pepper in a small bowl. Spoon cheese mix
ture by Tablespoon on the prepared baking sheet making 8 small mounds. Press each mound w
ith the back of a fork or spoon until small spaces appear (like a doily).
Place the baking pan on the center oven rack and bake for 3 to 4 minutes, until the cheese
is melted and golden. Remove the pan from the oven and cool for 5 minutes. Carefully tr
ansfer the cheese crisps on a wire rack to crisp for 10 minutes.
Combine the chopped tomato, cilantro and onion in a small bowl. Before serving, top each
with a Tablespoon of mixture.
