Crab-Stuffed Grilled Avocados
2 Tbsp. Hill Country Fare Louisiana Hot Sauce
* juice of 2 fresh limes
3 Tbsp. H-E-B Olive Oil
8 H-E-B Fresher Lasting® Jumbo Avocado Halves
1 container (8 oz.) H-E-B Jumbo Lump Crab Meat
2 Tbsp. H-E-B Mayonnaise
* salt and pepper
¼ c. H-E-B Roasted Pepper Tapenade
Combine hot sauce, lime juice, and olive oil in a small bowl. Place
avocado halves and lim
e marinade in a zipper bag. Marinate for 10
minutes or more.
Combine the lump crab with the mayonnaise in a small bowl and
season to taste with salt an
d pepper. Cover bowl with plastic wrap
and refrigerate until avocados are grilled.
Heat coals or grill to medium heat (375°F). Brush hot grill with olive
oil to prevent stic
king. Grill avocados on each fl at side for 4 minutes.
Turn the grilled avocado halves ove
r and grill for 4 more minutes.
Stuff each avocado with 2 Tablespoons each lump crab mixtu
re and 1
teaspoon roasted red pepper tapenade. Serve warm.
