Oil and Vinegar Cake

6 - 8 slices

1 1/2 c. White flour

1 c. Sugar

1/2 tsp. Baking soda

1/2 tsp. Baking powder

1/4 tsp. Kosher salt

2 Large eggs


1/2 c. Ottavio Greek Olive oil

2 tsp. Adams Reserve Orange or Lemon Peel

2 Tbsp. Adams Reserve Balsamic Reduction


Preheat oven to 325°F. Oil and flour a metal loaf pan.
Whisk in together the first 5 ingredients in a large bowl.
Next, Whisk together eggs, milk, olive oil and orange peel. Gradually combine the wet into
the dry ingredients. Transfer into the loaf pan.
Bake cake until tester comes out clean, about 1 hour. Cool cake in pan for a few minutes,
then on a rack top side up.
Serve with ice cream and drizzle with Balsamic Reduction.
